Maypearl came tearing into  Saturday's  match with four straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Wimberley Texans as they made off with  an  8-1 victory. Considering the Panthers have won five contests by more than five  runs this season, Saturday's  blowout was nothing new.
Maypearl pushed their record up to 6-2 with the  win, which was their third straight  on the road.
