If Waterford wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Calaveras, they should've done a better job of containing Rowan House. The Red Hawks simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat the Wildcats 57-20 with plenty of help from House, who posted 18 points in addition to seven boards and five assists. House is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least three every time he's taken the court this season.

Another player making a difference was Caleb Young, who went 5-for-7 en route to 14 points and three steals. Those points marked the first that he has scored this season.

When it comes to explaining why Waterford lost, don't look at Izaiah Sanchez. Despite the final result, he scored five points and three steals.

Calaveras' record is now 4-2. As for Waterford, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Calaveras wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 60-43 defeat against Atwater on the 9th. As for Waterford, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 67-55 loss against Amador on the 8th.
