Basketball Recap: Georgia Force Christian Picks Up Sixth Consecutive Win

Georgia Force Christian had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They blew past the Victory Baptist Warrior 79-56. The Blue Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 23 points or more this season.

Georgia Force Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Carter McCarn, who went 11 of 22 en route to 27 points and five rebounds. McCarn's evening made it 23 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. CJ Britt was another key player, going 11 for 19 on his way to 23 points in addition to seven assists and three steals.

Georgia Force Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in five consecutive matches.

Victory Baptist lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Dontaye Bell, who posted 14 points. Another player making a difference was Eric Banks Jr, who earned 11 points.

Georgia Force Christian pushed their record up to 15-7 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 81.5 points per game. As for Victory Baptist, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-9.
