Baseball Recap: Brooks Takes a Loss

Brooks suffered their closest defeat since April 28, 2025 on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Milton Academy Mustangs by a score of 4-2. Brooks hasn't had much luck with Milton Academy recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Brooks got a good showing from Jackson Robbins, who tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Robbins has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Kyle Derderian was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run. He also brought in an RBI, marking his first of the season.

Brooks' loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Milton Academy, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.
