Softball Recap: Mammoth Spring Takes a Loss

Mammoth Spring was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Tuckerman Bulldogs, falling 16-0.

Mammoth Spring's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Tuckerman, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-4.

Looking ahead, Mammoth Spring will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Sloan-Hendrix at 4:30 p.m. As for Tuckerman, they will challenge Cross County at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Thunderbirds have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.15 runs per game on average), something the Bulldogs will no doubt try to take advantage of.
