Baseball Recap: Carrollton Takes a Loss

Carrollton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Valley Lutheran Chargers, falling 11-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cavaliers of the 11-5 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Eli Simons was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Carrollton's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Valley Lutheran, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Carrollton will take on Laker at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Valley Lutheran, they will head out on the road to square off against Chesaning at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
