Union entered their tilt with Ridgeview on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Wolfpack a 3-0 shutout. That's more bragging rights for the Bears, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Union's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Ridgeview, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Union has already played their next contest, an 11-0 win against Chilhowie on the 27th. As for Ridgeview, they will square off against Twin Springs at 5:00 p.m. on April 6.
