Baseball Recap: Lewiston Extends Winning Streak to Three

Lewiston put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Lakeland Hawks. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-2 on Saturday.

Zavier McFee tossed a big game, tossing five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits.

At the plate, Lewiston saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grady Kennedy, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Lewiston pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Lakeland, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
