Basketball Recap: Hatton/Northwood Comes Up Short

Hatton/Northwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat. They lost 69-46 to the Larimore Polar Bears. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Polar Bears this season, with their most recent loss being a 76-40 defeat back in January.

Jace Collison continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Larimore, going 9-for-22 to rack up 31 points. Collison is becoming a predictor of Larimore's success: when he posts at least 15 points the team is 9-3 (and 4-5 when he doesn't). Baron Burns was another key player, shooting 56% from the field en route to 14 points and seven boards.

Hatton/Northwood's loss dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Larimore, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season.

Hatton/Northwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Larimore has already played their next match (against Dakota Prairie), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
