Softball Recap: Norwood Takes a Loss

Norwood managed to slip by Blanchester the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Indians lost 20-4 to the Wildcats on Saturday. The Indians were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 11-10.

Norwood's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Blanchester, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Norwood will host Seton at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Saints have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.2 runs per game on average), something the Indians will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Blanchester, they will challenge Mariemont at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
