Softball Recap: Washington Township Takes a Loss

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Washington Township was a bit more limited in their game on Monday. They came up short against Gloucester County Tech, falling 14-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Gloucester County Tech this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-5 back in April.

Washington Township saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Katie Fuller, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Washington Township has also been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season. As for Gloucester County Tech, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Washington Township will venture away from home to face off against Cumberland at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Gloucester County Tech, they will face off against Williamstown at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
