Soccer Recap: West Cabarrus Comes Up Short

West Cabarrus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 7-0 to the Mooresville Blue Devils. While losing is never fun, West Cabarrus can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 239th, while Mooresville are ranked 27th).

West Cabarrus' defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Mooresville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3-3 record this season.

West Cabarrus will square off against Mount Pleasant at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mooresville, they will take on South Iredell at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
