Augusta Christian came into Thursday's contest looking for another win against Warren County, but Courtney Bray wouldn't allow it. The Screaming Devils strolled past the Lions with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 61-44 with plenty of help from Bray, who posted 22 points. Her big performance that evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 21 points.

Alaya Hawes and Kennedy Cooper certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Hawes earned 14 points, while Cooper put up 17 points.

Warren County has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 52 points this season. As for Augusta Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Warren County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 77-52 defeat against Laney on the 5th. As for Augusta Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 46-31 victory against Bible Baptist Christian on the 5th.
