Basketball Game Preview: Dublin Jerome Celtics vs. Harvest Prep Warriors

The Dublin Jerome Celtics will head out on the road to face off against the Harvest Prep Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Having struggled with 13 defeats in a row dating back to last season, Dublin Jerome turned things around against Dublin Scioto on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Irish 47-45.

Meanwhile, Harvest Prep posted their closest victory since March 22, 2024 on Sunday. They had just enough and edged St. John's Jesuit out 55-53. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

Harvest Prep's win came from a few key players Dublin Jerome will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Ephraim Campbell, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Brandon Roddy, who went 6 of 12 on his way to 13 points.

Dublin Jerome's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Harvest Prep, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Dublin Jerome came up short against Harvest Prep when the teams last played back in January of 2024, falling 64-57. Can Dublin Jerome avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
