Basketball Recap: Fayette Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Central Baptist on Thursday, Fayette Academy came back down to earth. The Vikings took a blow against the Christian Brothers Purple Wave on Saturday, falling 72-42. The loss put an end to the Vikings' undefeated start to the season.

Despite the loss, Fayette Academy still got an impressive performance from Dalton Green, who posted 13 points and eight boards. Another player making a difference was Harris Armour, who scored seven points.

Having lost for the first time this season, Fayette Academy fell to 2-1. As for Christian Brothers, they now also have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Fayette Academy will square off against Evangelical Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Christian Brothers, they will challenge First Assembly Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
