Football Game Preview: Wright Christian vs. Southwest Christian Academy

Wright Christian have been homebodies their last two matches, but they are heading out on Friday. It's a road trip for them as they take on Southwest Christian Academy at 5:00 PM. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.

Wright Christian suffered a grim 16-48 defeat to Life Prep last Friday. Wright Christian got a solid performance out of senior Ben Persinger, who picked up 72 yards on the ground and accumulated 164 passing yards; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the victory. In fact, with 16 tackles Persinger was a force on both sides of the ball.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 12-54, which was the final score in Southwest Christian Academy's tilt against Union Christian Academy. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Southwest Christian Academy.

With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. With four turnovers, Wright Christian had trouble holding onto the ball. We'll see if Southwest Christian Academy exploit that vulnerability.
