Softball Game Preview: Killeen Kangaroos vs. Harker Heights Knights

Killeen is 0-8 against Harker Heights since February of 2019 but things could change on Friday. The Killeen Kangaroos will host the Harker Heights Knights at 7:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Killeen's offense. They lost 15-0 to Copperas Cove on Tuesday. The Kangaroos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Harker Heights has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.84 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Tuesday. They came up short against Midway, falling 12-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Knights were not able to get on the board.

Killeen's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Harker Heights, their loss dropped their record down to 14-5.

Killeen suffered a grim 11-0 defeat to Harker Heights in their previous matchup back in April of 2022. Can Killeen avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
