Volleyball Recap: Rancho Extends Winning Streak to Three

Rancho extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Halei Aikau. Everything went the Rams' way against the Eldorado Firehawks on Wednesday as they made off with a 3-0 win for which the team can thank Aikau, who had 22 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 14 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Rancho walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-19, 25-21.

Rancho now has a winning record of 13-12. As for Eldorado, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-16.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Rancho will challenge rival Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Eldorado is set to square off against their familiar foe Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
