Softball Recap: Middleton Cardinals vs. Janesville Craig Cougars
Middleton never let their opponents score on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Janesville Craig Cougars with a sharp 15-0 win. The Cardinals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matches by 11 runs or more this season.

Not much got past Megan Button, who gave up just two hits and racked up 11 Ks to keep Janesville Craig off the board. Button has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Maggie Zumbrunnen, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with four RBI and two runs. Hailey Stroede also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
