Recap: Winchester Community Golden Falcons vs. Northeastern Knights
After a string of three wins, the Winchester Community Golden Falcons's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They were outmatched by Northeastern at home and fell 54-19. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Winchester Community has suffered since December 20, 2023.
Northeastern got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Adysson Kircher out in front who scored 14 points along with six rebounds and five steals. Kircher hasn't dropped below two steals for eight straight games. Another player making a difference was Addisen Mastriano, who scored nine points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Winchester Community's loss dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Northeastern, they pushed their record up to 16-6 with that win, which was their ninth straight on the road.
Winchester Community will take on Muncie Burris at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northeastern, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Cambridge City Lincoln at 7:30 p.m. Cambridge City Lincoln is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.
