Basketball Recap: Alana Orr's Big Game Can't Quite Lead New Castle over Jay County

New Castle fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Jay County on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 64-54 to the Jay County Patriots. The defeat continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now lost five in a row.

New Castle lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Alana Orr, who posted 14 points. Carlee Lanzer was another key player, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds.
