Pinkston came tearing into Wednesday's contest with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.5 goals), and they left with even more momentum. Their defense stepped up to hand the Wilmer-Hutchins Eagles an 8-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Vikings, who have now won 14 matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Pinkston pushed their record up to 15-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 45 goals over those five games. As for Wilmer-Hutchins, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8.
