Basketball Game Preview: Lamoni Demons vs. Seymour Warriors

Lamoni has gone 8-2 against Seymour recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Lamoni Demons will head out on the road to take on the Seymour Warriors at 7:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Lamoni will head into Friday's game out to bounce back: they won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Friday. They were beaten by Ankeny Christian Academy 60-26. The matchup marked the Demons' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Seymour suffered their biggest loss since December 12, 2024 on Monday. They took a blow against Moravia, falling 69-40. The Warriors have struggled against the Mohawks recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Seymour's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Lamoni, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.

Lamoni beat Seymour 53-40 when the teams last played back in January of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lamoni since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
