Soccer Game Preview: Hidden Valley vs. Cave Spring

The Hidden Valley Titans will square off against the Cave Spring Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hidden Valley's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Hidden Valley fell victim to Blacksburg and their airtight defense on Friday. They came up short against the Bruins, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, Hidden Valley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 105th, while Blacksburg are ranked first).

Meanwhile, Cave Spring entered their contest against Blacksburg on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Knights lost 6-0 to the Bruins.

Hidden Valley now has a losing record of 3-4-1. As for Cave Spring, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.

Hidden Valley got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in May of 2025 against Cave Spring by a conclusive 4-1 score. Will the Titans repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
