Volleyball Recap: Mountain View Takes a Loss

Mountain View lost against North Pocono back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Eagles lost 3-0 to the Trojans. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Mountain View took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-19, 25-21.

When it comes to explaining why Mountain View lost, don't look at Addison Kilmer. Despite the final result, she had ten kills, eight blocks, and four digs. Kilmer has been hot for a while, having posted two or more blocks the last 14 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Aubrey Sanders, who had 19 assists.

Mountain View now has a losing record of 8-9. As for North Pocono, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Mountain View is set to square off against their familiar foe Lackawanna Trail at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, North Pocono will challenge rival Western Wayne at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
