They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Hopkins Vikings. Comstock Park were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Hopkins earlier this season, when they won 1-0.

Comstock Park's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11-2. As for Hopkins, the win snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 5-12-2 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Comstock Park will venture away from home to face off against Lakewood at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Hopkins, they will square off against Paw Paw at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
