Softball Recap: Tamalpais Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Tamalpais can now relate to. They fell just short of the Pinole Valley Spartans by a score of 3-2 on Friday. The Red Tailed Hawks' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it six in a row.

Tamalpais saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Annica Harris, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Christa Sasso also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.

Tamalpais' loss dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Pinole Valley, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-7.

Tamalpais does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pinole Valley, they have already played their next game, a 7-4 defeat against Northgate on the 27th.
