With a playoff win on the line, Prairie du Chien rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 9-3 margin over Viroqua. Considering Prairie du Chien has won eight matches by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Prairie du Chien has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Viroqua, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.

Coming up, Prairie du Chien will take on Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau on Thursday. The Red Hawks will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Blackhawks surely won't give up without a fight. Viroqua does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
