Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Riverton walked away with it. They walked away with  a   2-0  win over the Wellsville Eagles  on Monday. The  victory was nothing new for the Rams as they're now sitting on ten straight.
 Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Riverton took both sets by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-15,  25-14.
 Kynlee King paced Riverton's offense, picking up eight kills. King got some help from  Ava Price and her 18 assists.  Gracie Rantz controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
 Despite the  loss, Wellsville saw an underclassman step up: sophomore  Kailynn Rice  had 14  digs and two  assists.
Riverton's win bumped their record up to 34-4-1. As for Wellsville,  with the  defeat, they broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 24-15.
 The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Riverton will be playing at home against West Franklin  on Saturday. As for Wellsville, they will take on Osage City on Saturday.
