Soccer Recap: Freedom Takes a Loss

Freedom was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They lost 8-0 to the Forest Park Bruins. While losing is never fun, Freedom can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 200th, while Forest Park are ranked 76th).

Freedom's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Forest Park, they moved to 8-7-1 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Freedom is set to square off against their familiar foe Gar-Field at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Forest Park will take on rival Hylton at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
