Basketball Game Recap: Brooks Eagles vs. North Lawndale Phoenix

This season hasn't been kind to the Brooks Eagles, who are still winless after their fifth matchup. They received a tough blow on Monday as they fell 66-52 to North Lawndale.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Braylon Smith, who scored 9 points. Another player making a difference was Terrell Lowery, who scored 11 points.

Brooks' defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for North Lawndale, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Brooks will be playing at home against Horizon Science Academy-Southwest at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for North Lawndale, they will take on Prosser at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
