Basketball Recap: Rank Disadvantage No Problem for Lake Dallas

The third road contest was the charm for Lake Dallas, as they earned their first road win of the season. They came out on top against the Aledo Bearcats by a score of 64-51 on Friday. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Falcons' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 564th, while the Bearcats are ranked 54th).

Lake Dallas' record now sits at 7-10. As for Aledo, with the defeat, they broke their ten-game winning streak and moved their record to 16-2.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Paschal the next time they take the court. Lake Dallas will head out to face Paschal at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, while Aledo will play them later in the day, at 11:30 a.m.
