Recap: Pickens County Tornadoes vs. Sulligent Blue Devils

Pickens County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They suffered a tough 15-2 defeat at the hands of the Sulligent Blue Devils. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Pickens County of the 13-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2023.

For Sulligent's part, Ethan Stiles made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (he also didn't allow any walks).
