Volleyball Recap: Ruskin Comes Up Short

Ruskin suffered their biggest loss since April 14th on Wednesday. They came up short against the Grandview Bulldogs, falling 3-0. The Golden Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wesley Gali paced Ruskin's offense, picking up five kills. Gali got some help from Liam Pe?a and his six assists. Pe?a was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Ruskin's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10-2. As for Grandview, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-11-2 record this season.

Ruskin has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Grain Valley on the 1st. As for Grandview, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Raytown South on the 1st.
