Baseball Recap: Sandusky Takes a Loss

Sandusky was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 8-4 to the St. Mary Central Catholic Panthers. The Blue Streaks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Sandusky's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for St. Mary Central Catholic, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.

Coming up, Sandusky will face off against Edison at 4:45 p.m. on Monday. The Chargers will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Blue Streaks surely won't give up without a fight. As for St. Mary Central Catholic, they will take on Gibsonburg at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Panthers 3.5, the Golden Bears 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
