After losing to Andrean the last time they met, Illiana Christian decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Vikings came out on top against the Fighting 59ers by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vikings.

While Illiana Christian might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Andrean scored at least 22 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 20-25, 25-22, 25-23.

Joshua Bultema paced Illiana Christian's offense, picking up 23 kills. Bultema got some help from Daniel Dykstra and his 23 assists. Jacob Rozendal controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Illiana Christian's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Andrean, their loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 12-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Illiana Christian is set to challenge their familiar foe Noblesville at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Andrean will square off against rival Lafayette Jefferson at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
