Mira Monte can bid farewell to their nine-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Golden Valley Bulldogs with a sharp 9-1 win. With that victory, the Lions brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.

Isaiah Velasquez was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. What's more, he posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in March. Joseph Deniz also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.
