Volleyball Recap: West Forsyth Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Forsyth Central on Tuesday, West Forsyth came back down to earth. The Wolverines came up short against the Alpharetta Raiders on Wednesday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-14, 25-20.

Alpharetta can attribute much of their success to Kailey Leonard, who had 15 digs and ten assists. Those ten assists gave Leonard a new career-high.

West Forsyth's defeat dropped their record down to 18-18. As for Alpharetta, the victory (which was their 27th in a row) raised their record to 33-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. West Forsyth is set to take on their familiar foe North Atlanta at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Alpharetta will square off against rival North Forsyth at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
