Basketball Preview: Glenn Falcons vs. Bremen Lions

Glenn took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They secured a 54-48 W over New Prairie.
Glenn got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kaden Lang out in front who had 12 points along with two steals. The dominant performance also gave Lang a new career-high in assists (four). Joe Divine was another key player, posting 16 points.
Meanwhile, Bremen was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 51-45 to Plymouth. While the Lions didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Pilgrims/Rockies 14-10 in the first quarter.
Despite the defeat, Bremen saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Chase Devine went 13 for 22 en route to 31 points. Another player making a difference was Aden Hunziker, who had six points.
Glenn's victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-1. As for Bremen, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.
