Volleyball Recap: Little Snake River Takes Down Ranked Saratoga

Little Snake River faced Saratoga in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Rattlers walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Panthers. The Rattlers haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Little Snake River was led to victory by Melanie Cozzens and Aspen Evans. Cozzens had eight digs and two aces, while Evans had four aces. Those four aces gave Evans a new career-high.

They weren't the only good server: Little Snake River was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in seven consecutive matches.

Little Snake River's victory bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Saratoga, with the defeat, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-2.

Little Snake River has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Upton on the 13th. As for Saratoga, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Hulett on the 13th.
