Volleyball Game Preview: Winneconne Wolves vs. Green Bay West Wildcats + How To Watch

The Winneconne Wolves will head out on the road to face off against the Green Bay West Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Winneconne will be strutting in after a victory while Green Bay West will be coming in after a defeat.

Winneconne took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Green Bay East with a sharp 3-0 win. The Wolves not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 11th (when they won 3-0).

One reason for the win was Winneconne's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-11, 25-10.

Meanwhile, Green Bay West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to Shawano Community.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-8, 25-10.

Winneconne will have to contain Kendra Vang as she made an impact in Green Bay West's last game. She had 31 digs. Vang is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 17 or more in each of the last five games she's played. Ilyne Thao also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Winneconne's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-7. As for Green Bay West, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-11.

Winneconne was able to grind out a solid win over Green Bay West in their previous meeting back in August of 2018, winning 2-0. Do the Wolves have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wildcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
