Brighton scored the most runs they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They never let the Craigmont Chiefs onto the board and left with a 15-0 win. Winning may never get old, but Brighton sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Kaitlyn Chapman made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). Chapman was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-1.
In other batting news, Brighton let Keagan Stepp and Zaniya Hunt loose on the outfield. Stepp got on base in all three of her plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and a triple, while Hunt scored two runs and stole four bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Sydney Kirby was another key contributor, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all two of her plate appearances.
