Baseball Recap: South Brunswick Takes a Loss

South Brunswick was the 11-3 winner over Perth Amboy when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Vikings lost 9-3 to the Panthers on Tuesday.

South Brunswick saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Collin Perna, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

South Brunswick dropped their record down to 2-15 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Perth Amboy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-10.

South Brunswick has already played their next contest, a 7-1 loss against Hightstown on the 7th. Perth Amboy has also already played their next game (against Kennedy Memorial), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
