Volleyball Recap: Plainwell Trojans vs. Caledonia Fighting Scots
Plainwell was the 2-1 winner over Caledonia when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Trojans fell just short of the Fighting Scots by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. While the Trojans didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Fighting Scots 25-14 in the first set.
Plainwell started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 14-25, 25-27, 27-25, 25-13, 15-13.
Avery Seif had an outrageously good game for Caledonia as she had 23 digs and three assists. That's the most digs Seif has posted over her last nine contests.
