Basketball Game Preview: Seminole Seminoles vs. New Smyrna Beach Barracudas

The Seminole Seminoles will venture away from home to take on the New Smyrna Beach Barracudas at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Seminole comes in on six and New Smyrna Beach on three.

Last Friday, Seminole didn't have too much trouble with Lake Mary as they won 53-36.

Meanwhile, New Smyrna Beach beat Lake Howell 58-45 on Monday. Given the Barracudas' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 13th, while the Silverhawks are ranked 110th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

New Smyrna Beach's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-5. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points per game. As for Seminole, their win bumped their record up to 15-5.
