Volleyball Recap: Pike County Comes Up Short

Pike County lost against Whitewater two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Pirates fell 2-0 to the Wildcats. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Whitewater scored at least 17 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-17.

Pike County's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Whitewater, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5-1 record this season.

Pike County will challenge Crawford County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Whitewater, they will take on LaGrange at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
