Basketball Recap: North Henderson Falls Despite Big Games from Brayden Hudson and Titus Moore

North Henderson was the 72-70 winner over Hendersonville when they last played one another last Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Knights took a 77-72 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bearcats on Tuesday. The Knights were up 43-29 in the second quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

North Henderson's loss came despite strong showings from Titus Moore and Brayden Hudson. Moore dropped a double-double with 24 points and ten boards, while Hudson dropped a double-double with 18 points and 13 rebounds. Moore is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 46% in the last nine games he's played dating back to last season. Cameron Case was another key player, putting up eight points and five boards.

It was another big night for Jordan Wynn, who went 8-for-15 to rack up 27 points and eight steals for Hendersonville. With that strong performance, Wynn is now averaging an impressive 17.2 points per game. Another player making a difference was Jordan Buford, who posted eight points along with seven rebounds and six steals.

Having lost for the first time this season, North Henderson fell to 4-1. As for Hendersonville, their record now sits at an identical 4-1.

North Henderson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 75-43 win against Owen on the 4th. As for Hendersonville, they have also already played their next game, a 68-29 victory against Asheville on the 3rd.
