Baseball Recap: Socorro Comes Up Short

Socorro and Permian squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Socorro had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 7-0 loss on Friday.

Socorro's defeat dropped their record down to 16-18. As for Permian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-14-1.

As of now, neither Socorro nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
