Preview: Stroudsburg Mountaineers vs. Whitehall Zephyrs
Stroudsburg has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against the Whitehall Zephyrs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Tuesday, Stroudsburg was able to grind out a solid victory over Easton Area, taking the game 43-36.
Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Whitehall on the road against Central Columbia on Saturday as the team secured a 68-31 victory. That 68-31 margin sets a new team best for Whitehall this season.
Stroudsburg's victory bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Whitehall, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.
Stroudsburg was able to grind out a solid win over Whitehall in their previous meeting back in January of 2020, winning 70-57. Will Stroudsburg repeat their success, or does Whitehall have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
