Softball Recap: Alden-Conger/Glenville-Emmons Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cleveland, Alden-Conger/Glenville-Emmons was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Schaeffer Academy Lions by a score of 7-4. The win continues a trend for Alden-Conger/Glenville-Emmons in their matchups with Schaeffer Academy: they've now won three in a row.

Markey Samp was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Carlie Loock, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

Alden-Conger/Glenville-Emmons' victory bumped their record up to 4-14. As for Schaeffer Academy, they are on a 24-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-15.
